wiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 20, #1 – Schwarzsee to Jaun. The lake path that begins this stage is a wide, gravel trail and part of a circular lake route. The path around the lake is called “Witches Path” and there are signs along the route with folklore stories.

Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 20, #5 – Schwarzsee to Jaun. The Euschelspass connects the Jaun and Schwarzsee valleys. Multiple Alp restaurants are in this area and on a nice day, this is a beautiful hike with views of Chällihorn and Chörblispitz.
Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 20, #6 – Schwarzsee to Jaun. After the Euschelspass, the descent into Juan is steep. So steep, that it takes about the same amount of time to go down as it does to go up this section. Jaun is in the district of Gruyère in the canton of Fribourg. It is the only German-speaking city in the Gruyère region.
Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 20, #7 – Schwarzsee to Jaun. Jaun is famous for its local waterfall which flows down the Jaun River and down the Jaunbach Valley, Stage 21. Jaun is also known for its ornate cemetery with wooden headstones. Most of the buildings are classic Swiss villa style and the town has a welcome feeling.
