Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 17, #1 – Münsingen to Rüeggisberg. I’m a big fan of big rivers and the Aare River in Switzerland is my kind of river. Contributing water sources stretch as far east as the Joch Pass and as far south as the Jungfrau region. Those water sources flow into the Brienzersee, through the town of Interlocken, and into the Thunensee before forming the Aare where the city of Thun is located. The Aare flows north through Bern and eventually into the Rhine River. After the bridge scenes, I begin the first big climb of the day. The Belpberg rises up in a steep fashion just off the river bank. The climb is worth it as you’ll see in the next video.

Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 17, #7 – Münsingen to Rüeggisberg. Some great Alp views before entering Rüeggisberg. Wow, this little town is well-preserved in tradition. The town is part of the St. James Pilgrimage with the Rüeggisberg Monastery.
