Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 16, #2 – Moosegg to Münsingen. The hike out of Moosegg has a 150 ft. incline to Blasenflue Peak. I map some of the peaks in view and discover some odd elements on Blasenflue.
Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 16, #3 – Moosegg to Münsingen. This video shows Blasenhorn and the town of Blasen. It also captures a game I have never seen or anyone else I’ve asked. I saw the game being played while hiking at a later stage, so this is a real thing. If anyone knows this game, please tell me in the comments.
Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 16, #4 – Moosegg to Münsingen. Sometimes the 360-degree VR Video comes in handy, as with this video. I’m walking along a ridge with long, downhill views of the Swiss countryside and farms.
Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 16, #5 – Moosegg to Münsingen. I walk through a lovely town in Central Switzerland. These mid-sized towns are worth the visit as you can see in the video.
Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 16, #6 – Moosegg to Münsingen. Saturday’s are not the ideal day of the week for hiking in the country at lower altitudes because of the gun ranges. Section 16 passes 4 different gun ranges causing me to detour and creating a bit of fear. If you’ve hiked with gun ranges near the trail, do you have any secrets for success?
Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 16, #7 – Moosegg to Münsingen. Münsingen seems to be a pretty decent town located 1/2 way between Bern and Thun. I spend the last part of section 16 and the beginning of section 17 in town.
