Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 26, #1 – Morges to Aubonne. Starting in Morges, I had a wonderful crape lunch along the main street of Old Town. Then I headed to the Morges Castle and Independence Park. Unbelievably, there was a spring flower exhibition in the park and the Tulips were in bloom on this day.
Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 26, #2 – Morges to Aubonne. The trail goes inland following the Boiron River upstream. The House of the River, at the beginning of the river, seems to be a working and educational farming experience. When I came through, there were two dueling roosters crowing from different sides of the river.
Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 26, #3 – Morges to Aubonne. Hiking through St Prex and the St. Prex old town. A beautiful town on Lake Geneva with great views of the French Alps.
Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 26, #4 – Morges to Aubonne. Lake Geneva Hike, the town of La Moraine Lakefront, and hiking to Atoy.
Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 26, #5 – Morges to Aubonne. Atoy to Allaman, Allaman Castle, La Aubonne River, Lake Geneva Harbor @ Les Batiaux. I love this section of the hike. Lots to see but the smells and sounds really stood out to me.
Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 26, #6 – Morges to Aubonne. In the video, I suggest that this area reminded me of Tuscany. I fell in love with the Town of Allaman.
Swiss Alpine Panorama Trail, Segment 26, #7 – Morges to Aubonne. Hike wrap-up while approaching La Aubonne. The wind was a pleasant relief from the afternoon heat. I felt the history of hundreds of years of people walking off their fields and into town.
